At this point, the Lord adds you to His Church.  [Acts 2:47].  There is no voting or other means of "joining" the Lord's Chuch.  Upon your obedience to his Word, He adds you to his Church!  This is part of the good news, man does not decide if you are worthy to be a part of church or not, God does the adding, and he has already decided that you are worthy.  That is why he gave his Son to die for you and me, making this Good News possible.
We are on a mission!  Our mission is to get from Earth to Heaven where Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us [John 14:2].  We believe the Bible to be the inspired (that is, God-breathed) Word of God or Gospel (good news).  That Gospel is the power of God unto Salvation [Romans 1:16].  Therefore, we know that the way to that prepared place is by preparing ourselves by living in accordance with the Bible.  Our other mission is to share this good news with as many people as we can, so that we can all make this journey together.  Here is what the Bible teaches us regarding what we must do to go to that place that is prepared for us.

Our Mission Statement
A History of the Pisgah Church of Christ

The work here was started by a few members of the Blue Ash Church of Christ in the early 1960's.  The neat thing is that we have a few of those charter members today, nearly 50 years later.  The congregation has been dedicated to an uncompromising commitment to steadfast doctrine and strict adherence to the examples and teaching of the New Testament.  We plan to continue our struggle to resist changing after, "every wind of doctrine" (ephesians 4:14).

The church began meeting in the basement of the home of one of the members.  Parking was a disaster and plans were quickly advanced to pursue a better meeting place.  The plan to build a parsonage and later a building was soon put into motion.  In the meantime another member had a house constructed by a contractor that was a member of the congregation, in the same neighborhood where the house and building would later be constructed.  The church began to meet in that member's house.  When construction on the parsonage was complete, the preacher moved into the upstairs, and the church commenced meeting in the basement.  Due to the dedication and commitment of the members, the current building was constructed and the church was able to meet in a "church building" for the first time!

Hear.  [Romans 10:14] "How shall they call upon him in whom they have not believed? And shall they believe in him whom they have not heard?
Believe. [Hebrews 11:6] "But without faith (belief) it is impossible to please him...."
Repent. [Luke 13:3] "I tell you, Nay:  but, except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish."
Confess. [matthew 10:32,33] "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."
Baptized. [1 Peter 3:21] "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:" [Romans 6:3,4] "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."
